Robotics Machine Control Systems

Robotic machine control systems (MCS) are becoming increasingly popular in construction due to their accuracy and productivity levels. MCS consists of 3 main components – GNSS receivers (GPS), robotics total stations (RTS), and machine control displays (MCD). GNSS receivers capture satellite signals which RTS uses to calculate position data which is then displayed on MCDs located in the cab of the machine where the operator can see it. MCS can be used on a variety of construction machines such as dozers, graders, compactors, etc., to perform tasks such as grading, excavating, etc., with great accuracy levels (+/- 2cm). This technology is changing the way construction projects are being executed and taking productivity levels to new heights!
